The ADC faculty follows a structured teaching program and a dance curriculum emphasizing technique and individual attention. We wish to inspire our students to perform at their highest potential. Treating dancers with care and respect, we help them remain physically and emotionally healthy as they progress in dance.

ADC Dance Program: The styles offered have prerequisites and distinct characteristics such as class name, letters, or numbers of tier and level. It is common for students to continue training for more than one year in the same class, especially if they do not meet the age requirement for the next level.

Evaluation/Attendance: The teachers evaluate the students throughout the dance season. Class participation, performance in the year-end show, attendance, attitude, and, most importantly, personal progress are the main factors in class placement.

Students who consider dance training their primary extracurricular activity, show tremendous progress, and maintain exemplary attendance, will advance to the highest tiers.

Students who are also involved in multiple sports, clubs, or personal projects must communicate with their dance teachers about these commitments. Depending on class availability, the teachers may recommend an alternative tier or level so these students can still meet their class prerequisites.

ADC Summer Program:

Returning students progress faster and can try new dance styles before registering for the upcoming season. During September and October, upon re-evaluation, we may recommend your dancer to a higher tier. Trial-basis placements are usually successful, and the student continues at that tier for the rest of the season.

New students are encouraged to try these no-commitment classes before the yearly dance season begins. Their parents can observe how their child performs, engage with the teacher and then decide in a relaxed environment about enrollment in the ten-month season.
