👗 Dance Attire Policy
At The Arts of the Dance Centre, we take pride in maintaining a professional dress code. Just like in other structured recreational activities, proper attire and classroom etiquette are essential to the education and discipline of every dancer. Our dress code encourages unity, focus, and respect for the art of dance.
We kindly ask that all students have the correct dance attire within four (4) weeks of starting classes.
To participate in class, dancers must wear the designated attire, including:
Correct leotard and tights
Appropriate shoes for each dance style
Approved hairstyle (e.g., bun or secured ponytail)
Dancers must wear street clothes over dance attire when arriving or leaving the building. Dance shoes must never be worn outside. This protects both the dancer and our floors.
🎒 Dance Bags
Dancers should bring a designated dance bag to carry all their shoes and supplies.
Label all shoes with your child’s name to prevent loss or mix-ups.
👕 Warm-Ups
The following items are allowed during warm-up exercises only:
Fitted black, pink, or gray dance sweaters or shirts
Studio-branded t-shirts
Leg warmers
⛔ Not Allowed in Class
Necklaces, bracelets, watches
Large rings or hoop earrings
Loose-fitting or unapproved clothing
🩱 Undergarments (If Applicable)
Dancers should wear appropriate undergarments:
