After the student receives their costume and accessories, every item should be labeled with the student's name, as they are now their property and no longer the studio's responsibility.

STAGE ATTIRE - Required for all Dress Rehearsals and Shows - Dancers will be in FULL COSTUME with the correct accessories, tights, and shoes. - clear or nude-tone nail polish (optional). - no jewelry (small studs are permitted) - no henna tattoos; permanent tattoos must be covered with waterproof concealer  HAIR: - uniform hairstyles are required: Additional information regarding hairstyles will be added in the upcoming weeks on the Costumes Description List - please see your teacher for suggestions if you have very short hair MAKEUP: - stage lights are very bright and can wash out features - the suggested makeup for girls is: red-tone lipstick, blush, eye shadow, and mascara  - for the boys: a little blush works well, and black eyeliner optional

-All Students performing in multiple numbers must wear tan bodytight under their costumes and other tights during rehearsals and shows. The bodytight serves for hygienic purposes, instead of undergarments, protects a dancer's privacy when changing costumes, and provides an easy transition from one costume to another, especially during quick changes. Costumes slide easily over the body, but they stick to perspiring skin. -Additional information regarding hairstyles will be added in the coming weeks.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS -Purchasing a costume does not grant any student, the right to dance with the class if the below requirements are not met. -Participation in the shows may be denied if a student misses more than 3 classes during the months of March-June or any Dress Rehearsals. Exceptions are made for emergency situations. -If the student has a conflict of schedule that you are already aware of, please email the studio immediately at theartsofthedancecentre@gmail.com. The class teacher will then contact you regarding this matter.
